Shipping Policy

Thank you for shopping with Blooming Zone Farms. Because we ship live plants directly from our farm to your home, our shipping process requires careful handling, inspection, and timing to ensure your plants arrive in the healthiest possible condition. Please read this policy in full before placing your order so you understand how we process, pack, and deliver your plants, as well as what to expect if an issue arises during transit.

1. Order Processing

All orders placed through Blooming Zone Farms are subject to a processing period before shipment. During this time, each plant is individually inspected by our farm team to confirm it meets our quality standards for health, size, and condition. Plants that do not pass inspection are held back and will not be shipped. Orders are typically processed and prepared for shipment within 1–3 business days following purchase confirmation. Business days are defined as Monday through Friday, excluding federal holidays. Orders placed over the weekend or on holidays will begin processing on the next available business day. You will receive an email notification with tracking information once your order has been handed off to the carrier.

2. Shipping Timeframes

Once your order leaves our farm, standard delivery is estimated at 3–7 business days, depending on your location and the carrier’s routing schedule. Delivery windows are estimates only and are not guaranteed, as transit times can be influenced by distance, regional carrier capacity, and other factors outside of our control. We currently ship to addresses within the contiguous United States. At this time, we do not ship to Hawaii, Alaska, U.S. territories, or international destinations. If you are unsure whether we ship to your area, please contact us before placing your order. We do not offer expedited or overnight shipping options at this time. All shipments are sent via standard ground service to minimize stress on live plants during transit.

3. Weather & Carrier Delays

Because we ship live plants, they are sensitive to temperature extremes and prolonged transit times. We monitor weather conditions regularly and, when necessary, may hold shipments during periods of extreme heat, freezing temperatures, or severe weather in either the origin or destination region. In such cases, a member of our team will contact you to discuss the delay and arrange a new ship date. Carrier delays — including those caused by high shipping volumes, weather disruptions, or logistical issues — may occasionally extend delivery beyond the estimated timeframe. Blooming Zone Farms is not responsible for delays caused by the carrier once the package has been picked up and scanned into the carrier’s system. Arrived in poor condition? If your plant arrives damaged or in poor health as a direct result of a transit delay or weather-related issue, please contact us within 48 hours of delivery with your order number and photos of the plant and packaging. We will review your claim and work with you to find an appropriate resolution, which may include a replacement, store credit, or refund at our discretion.

4. Shipping Costs

Shipping costs are not included in the listed price of any plant and are calculated separately based on the size and weight of your order, your delivery destination, and current carrier rates. The exact shipping cost will be displayed at checkout before you complete your purchase — there are no hidden fees or surprise charges added after the fact. When necessary, we include protective packaging materials such as insulating liners, cushioning, or moisture-retaining materials to help ensure your plant survives transit safely. The cost of these materials is factored into your shipping rate where applicable and will be reflected in your checkout total. Blooming Zone Farms does not profit from shipping fees. All shipping charges are passed through directly from our carrier partners.

5. Address Accuracy & Delivery Responsibility

It is the customer’s responsibility to ensure the shipping address entered at checkout is complete and accurate. Blooming Zone Farms is not liable for orders lost, delayed, or returned due to an incorrect or incomplete address provided at the time of purchase. If you realize you have entered an incorrect address, please contact us immediately. We will do our best to intercept the shipment, but we cannot guarantee corrections once an order has been handed to the carrier. We strongly recommend that someone be available to receive your shipment upon delivery. Live plants left in extreme heat or cold for extended periods after delivery can deteriorate quickly. Blooming Zone Farms is not responsible for plant health issues that result from a package being left unattended for an unreasonable amount of time after confirmed delivery.
  • Track your shipment using the tracking number provided in your shipping confirmation email.
  • If you know you will not be available during the estimated delivery window, consider requesting a hold at your local carrier facility.
In warmer months, we recommend scheduling delivery to a location that is shaded or has access to a covered porch or entryway.

6. Lost or Stolen Packages

If your tracking information shows your package as delivered but you have not received it, please first check around your property, with neighbors, and with anyone in your household before contacting us. Packages are occasionally left in unexpected locations by carriers. If the package cannot be located, contact us within 5 business days of the marked delivery date. We will open an investigation with the carrier on your behalf. Please note that Blooming Zone Farms is not responsible for packages confirmed as delivered by the carrier that are subsequently lost or stolen. We encourage customers in areas with frequent package theft to utilize delivery hold options through the carrier where available. Questions about your shipment? Our team is here to help.
